Speaking of birthdays, as some of you may know I'm planning a little get together on Thursday before Otakon in "celebration" of me getting old. I originally wanted to go to the Inner Harbor, but now I have another place in mind. I'd been told about XS in the past, and it looks awesome. It's a sushi place slash bar, and has a shit-ton of cocktails and DJ after 8 pm. There's also a lot of other food for the non-sushi crowd and tons of coffees and smoothies and crap for the underagers. The only issue is that it's about a mile away, so I'm thinking those of you who definitely want to go can meet up at the Convention Center or something and split cab fare over. I'm not planning on going over until later, like around 8 or so. If you're not sure, you're certainly welcome to wander over later if you decide you want to come. Also, this is an open invitation, so if you'd like to bring friends or significant others, the more the merrier. Please comment and let me know if you're interested, as well as what time works for you if you'd like to head over with the group.

I FINALLY GOT A FULL-TIME SUMMER INTERNSHIP. It's only taken over a MONTH to get this all straightened out, and this was honestly a major reason I've been so 'meh' lately - worried about finances and crap - but yea, I got it and it pays RIDICULOUSLY well. And oh, guess what? It's in ELKTON, MD (home of final_memories and themaskedhelper) meaning I'm now going to be about 40 mins from Baltimore and an hour or so from DC, so if you live around these areas LET'S HANG OUT because I probably only get to see you a few times a year. I'm starting the Monday after next (June 30) and will probably be going up to Rehoboth Beach almost every weekend unless I have other plans.



Also, this means I will be finally be getting my little Michelle Wii <333

I swear I'm still alive. I've been super MIA lately, but I'm trying to get back online more and all that. No More Heroes, ie THE VIDEO GAME THAT SURELY I MUST HAVE MADE AND THEN GOT SELECTIVE AMNESIA AND FORGOT ABOUT was on sale for $20 freaking dollars at circuit city, so I bought it, despite the fact that I have yet to buy a Wii. I went home last weekend and since my parents DO have a Wii (which is pretty much the biggest bullshit thing I've ever heard - they've played it TWICE in 2 months and refused to SELL it to me because they "want to start entertaining" next year. /RAGE) I of course had to at least check it out. I had been telling my mom to get Wii Play, which she calls "Cow Race," and she walks in thinking I'm playing that as Travis Touchdown is decapitating some goon, blood spurting out of his neck, and homeboy is repeatedly dropping the F-bomb while I watch with a look of sheer delight and glee. (Maybe this is why they won't sell the Wii to me) Ok so, cow race is fun and all, especially if you're a 50 something woman who can't even use email right, but OMG NO MORE HEROES gives my metaphorical wang a GIANT RAGING BONER. I swear to god THIS GAME is like...everything I've ever wanted and loved all rolled up into one gratuitously blood soaked package.

God damn I need to get a Wii, then I REALLY will be MIA...but yea, I changed my layout to Bad Girl and Amy Winehouse lyrics (since it's just a little TOO perfect) and good god, I can not wait until Otakon.

A small update from the Peanut Gallery:

- I got all A's this semester. AGAIN. I love how my grad school GPA is AMAZING and I don't really care that much about it.

- I visited my final_memories this past weekend, had an AMAZING photoshoot with irishais and attended her fantastic party.

- I finished up Trials and Tribulations and thus, the Phoenix Wright saga has ended for me. And I bring you a parting gift, so we will never forget.

Ahhhh, I just realized AB falls on the tail-end of my spring break, so I really want to go, since I'm not going to be in Panama City getting beads shaken at me by drunken idiots screaming "TITTIES! TITTIES!"...Some folks have already mentioned going/not going (it conflicts with Easter, fyi), but I was just wondering who else was interested so we can try to figure out a carpool or something, as well as a room. Also, I don't have anything specific I plan on bringing, so if you want me to wear something with you, just let me know!

I GOT A NEW COMPUTER - iMac with a 20" display, dual core processor, Leopard OS...all that snazzy stuff. It's GLORIOUS, to say the least. Now I just have to pay my mom back in rather large monthly installments, but hey - it's interest free.

And what have I done with my new computer? The schoolwork that I purchased it for? HELLZ NO. Claire and I rewrote the latest Naruto chapter. I did the photoshopping, but the whole thing was her idea. Our girl's growing up! *tears* (there really aren't any spoilers in here for 385, unless you count seeing a few panels - out of order, mind you - a spoiler...SO LOOK, DAMNIT)

EDIT: I realized that you can't view the thing on DA if you don't have an account (I flagged it just to cover my ass since DA seems kinda strict), so it's on Photobucket too.

Awww man, I got my grades for this semester and get this - I got straight A's, but I have a 3.8 GPA...Duquesne uses the gay-ass uneeform +/- system, meaning an A- lowers your GPA. Stupid, hmm?

My mom bought me a new dress at Express yesterday, which I certainly don't need and will probably not wear very often, but it's cute and looks good on me (and oh yea, was free), so whatever.

Uh yea. If only I could channel my inner Sakura to heal the GIANT GASH on my finger that bled today for 7 hours. 7 HOURS. I am such a douche sometimes, honestly. I thought I might have to go to get stitches since this damn thing kept bleeding, but it finally stopped. I think.

Also on the bundlllle front, I lost my check card sometime this past weekend. Thankfully, no one used it and I cancelled it, but I have to wait a week to get my new one and I don't have much cash. I couldn't even stop for my beloved Starbucks today after class T_T OHHH THE TRAGEDY!!


Good news is I am officially done with school!! My first semester of grad school is over and I survived. I'm not really sure what my grades are, but I shouldn't be getting below a B in anything, so hopefully my parents will be happy. Also, Phoenix Wright makes me happy, just generally.

I think Drunk Sannins are appropriate since CLAIRE IS FINALLY 21. Next time we stay at Embassy Suites, this will be us.
